Hi there! I’m a first generation American-Egyptian, who grew up with lots of flavor and lots of food. My husband, a first generation American-Mexican, also grew up with lots of spice and food :) Now, as an adult with digestive issues, my goal is to have tasty, flavorful foods that keep our bodies happy and in check, so it doesn’t stop us from living our best life.
You’ll find most of my recipes are paleo, with the exception of rice, which I do let into my diet because I still feel good eating it. That’s my motto - do what is good for your body, not just what others are doing! But aside from rice (which is infrequently used), there should be substitutions for everything to make it fully paleo or fully low FODMAP :)
