High Protein Yogurt + Waffle Bowl

You know what they say … eat meat in moderation to curb the cholesterol. But how do we get protein into our diet in high enough amounts to build muscle from those workouts?

Plus, higher muscle mass equals higher metabolic rate, which is really one of the most sustainable (and in the long term - easier ways) of being able to eat more and not gain weight!

Enter supplements. I prefer getting my nutrients from straight food…but sometimes, we all need a little help, right? This unflavored collagen powder became really popular as a collagen supplement (hair, nails, skin, etc) but it actually has a good amount of protein in it! And it’s pretty dissolvable. I use it often in my matcha tea to help supplement protein intake in the morning, but in this breakfast - I just add it straight to the yogurt and stir it so it’s fully blended. Pair with some of my Paleo Nutty “Oats” and a Wintry Spiced Waffle, and bam. You have a delicious, tasty, high protein breakfast - without the high cholesterol.
