About the author

Mel is a proud first generation immigrant (of Egyptian descent) who married another first generation immigrant (of Mexican descent). They love eating all sorts of cultural foods, but when Mel got diagnosed with SIBO, a lot changed in their kitchen. Now, Mel is mostly paleo and mostly low FODMAP - her rule of thumb is listen to the body. You’ll find she lets in some low FODMAP cheeses, or some grains that are gluten-free - but not often - and you will always have a replacement to make it fully paleo or fully low-FODMAP. Her hope is that these recipes give you peace of mind and tasty foods to help you through your journey!
